The title alone should give an indication of the mature themes gratuitously explored in this third-person hack-n-slash assault on the senses.
Subtle it is not, but if competing in a dystopian future literally just to stay alive is what floats your boat when you're sitting on your sofa, you might want to read on.
You'll take on a melange of merciless adversaries in a number of post-apocalyptic arenas around the world, each of them with a near-endless array of life-terminating hazards and limb eviscerating death-traps.
Your collection of available fighters each boast their own special skills and weapons, which can be upgraded as you progress, allowing you to play to your strengths within a number of multiplayer battle modes.
If the 'bloodthirsty post-apocalyptic gladiatorial games' slot remains empty in your gaming collection, this is definitely the title to fill it - but it is likely to be an acquired gaming taste.
