WOODHILL Woodstock 2018 will take place on Saturday July 7 in Botley, in aid of Cancer Research and The Heart Foundation.

The family friendly festival, now in its second year, features many local bands, including The Bootlegs, Trevor John Band, Eyes to the Skies, Kneeslider, Davey Jones Locker, Scarlet Town, The Jaspers and many many more.

Organiser, John Seymour, says: "The idea of the festival is designed to be an old style festival based on people coming together and being really friendly, plus excellent value for money.

"There is an amazing amount of things to do for the whole family and it could be said to be a like a mini Glastonbury.

"We have two main stages, a third stage in the glade for alternative acts, a buskers and poets corner, healing area with Tarot, readers, Reiiki therapists and workshops on alternative and healthy living."

There will be lots of different food available, a main bar, gin palace and spirit bar, supervised children's area for under 8s and lots more to keep older children amused.

The festival runs from 10.30am until 10.30pm, with a small after party for campers, at Woodhill Prep School, Brook Lane, Botley and camping is available in the school grounds.

Tickets are priced at £10 each, or £20 with camping. Under 12s go free. To book please contact the school office, most of the bands, The Admiral Drake Pub, Coffee Chi or go online at: www.wegottickets.com/f/11089.
