Fawley Falcons were founded in 1973, quickly expanding from one team to the numerous age categories they now cater for.
The club included all-girl teams from 2004 and, as founding members of the New Forest Girls Youth Football League, are active promoters of girls’ football.
Fawley Falcons’ opponents on October 5, 1997 were Hamble.
Both teams gave it their all – tackling, dribbling. blocking, passing and shooting their way through the match.
Despite a massive effort from both teams, neither could find the winning goal – the contest finishing 2-2.
