A New Forest holiday park firm has added two more sites to its portfolio.

Shorefield Holidays, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, has acquired New Forest Lodge Retreat at Milford-on-Sea and Wilksworth Caravan Park near Wimborne in Dorset.

Cllr Barry Dunning, the Town Mayor of Lymington and Pennington Town Council officially opened New Forest Lodge Retreat, – Shorefield Holidays’ seventh park on the edge of the New Forest.

It has has been turned into an exclusive, gated community of 12 luxury boutique holiday ownership lodges.

Homeowners will have access to luxury facilities including an exclusive health and fitness club with heated indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, steam room and spa bath.

Adjacent to the park is Lavender House, which can sleep up to 14 people in seven en-suite rooms – it even has its own cinema room.

Following hot on the heels of this new park, Shorefield acquired its eighth and latest park at the beginning of this year.

Wilksworth Caravan Park offers both holiday ownership as well as camping and touring facilities.

Funding for both acquisitions was provided by HSBC, drawn from a 10-year loan facility put in place to help the business pursue further acquisition opportunities. HSBC has also agreed a working capital facility and an ongoing asset finance facility to purchase additional hire fleet caravans for its parks.
