FINAL works on a new £1.6m industrial and warehouse park have reached their conclusion.

Work on Hamilton Business Park in Hedge End finished earlier this month. It is owned, managed and being developed by the Hargreaves Group of Companies.

Southampton-based commercial property specialist Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) are marketing the 24,760sqft scheme as either one complete unit, or divided into units from 5,325 sq ft depending on the needs of occupiers.

Adrian Whitfield, regional industrial and logistics director for LSH, said: “Hamilton Business Park is a true success story with national occupiers such as Wickes, Magnet, Screwfix, Toolstation and DPD choosing to take units there because of its vibrant location and ease of access to transport links including the M27.

“These new units are a welcome addition and can be utilised flexibly by a single occupier or multiple businesses.”

Mr Whitfield added: “We are already in talks with interested parties and expect to be able to welcome new occupiers to the final new development at the park early in the new year.”

James Belbin, senior surveyor at Hargreaves, added: “We are very excited to have completed construction at this valuable new addition to Hamilton Business Park, which is the culmination of many years of investment in Hedge End, beginning with the development of Nelson Business Park and six warehouse/industrial units in 1988.

“Our total holdings across the Hamilton and Nelson now number 26 units with around 250,000 sq ft of commercial space.”

The units at Junction 7 of the M27 are located in a popular area for commercial use with household names including Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, B&Q, Currys, Amazon and Ericsson already present in the area.
